Le theme du Challenge de JANVIER 2016 est " GREEN "

Voici donc mon projet DT MIX MEDIA Vert : une boite en bois revue et corrigée!!!

The base is this wooden box:
La base est cette boite en bois :

 I affixed modeling paste ON the entire box, making reliefs with the knife

J'ai d'abord apposé du modeling paste sur toute la boite , en faisant des reliefs avec le couteau d'application

After drying time, I did join various metal parts: an old fancy necklace with metal charms, steampunk cogs, small black metallic flowers that I had long ago ( a gift order ) , and roses previously inked in various shades of green:

Apres temps de séchage , j'ai fait adhérer différentes pièces métalliques : un vieux collier fantaisie
des charms en métal , des rouages steampunk , des petites rose métalliques noires que j'avais eu il y a longtemps en cadeau avec une commande , et des roses préalablement encrées en différents tons de vert :

 I then covered it all with gesso (two  liquid layers, so that we see well detailed metal décorations)

J'ai ensuite revetu tout cela de gesso ( deux couches assez liquides , afin que l'on voie bien le détail des décorations métalliques ) :

And finally I applied Distress Paints (green), Distress inks (Forest most, Peeled Paint, Peacock feather, Vintage Photo), mica powder (Green, Turquoise and Lilac), Glimer Mist (Green - Turquoise - Yellow and Gold) and a little  Crackle Paint. 

Et enfin j'ai appliqué des  Distress Paints ( green ) , Distress inks  ( Forest most ,Peeled Paint, Peacock feather ,Vintage Photo ), de la poudre de mica  ( Green, Turquoise and Lilac ) , du Glimer Mist ( Green - Turquoise - Yellow and Gold ) et un peu de  Crackle paint .

"  Voilà " !

Which one do you prefer ?
The Elegance of the Step card all white ? Or Flowery exuberance of a Spring day of the second Step card ?

 My Husband prefers the all  white card .
 I can not say: I made these cards for birthday of one of my dear older sisters -
Marie-Claire - and I can not choose the card I'm going to send her ......!

I was happy by performing this card first, because I really took my time to make them, and then because I will come to these dies that I love, and I had a bit neglected lately, the Cheery Lynn Designs dies .

And there I can tell you that SCRAPY LAND  has a big choice!





Laquelle préférez vous ? L' Elégance raffinée de la Step card toute blanche ou l'Exubérance fleurie d'une journée printanière de la seconde Step card ?

Mon mari préfère la  carte toute Blanche .
Moi je ne saurais dire : j'ai réalisé ces cartes pour l'anniversaire de l'une de mes chères sœurs aînées - Marie Claire - , et me voici bien embarrassée au moment de choisir celle que je vais lui envoyer......!

Je me suis fait un petit plaisir en réalisant cette carte , d'abord parce que j'ai réellement pris tout mon temps pour les faire  , et ensuite parce que je reviens vers ces dies que j'adore , et que j'avais un peu délaissées ces derniers temps , les dies Cheery Lynn Designs .

Et là je peux vous dire que SCRAPY LAND   a un vaste choix !

I especially like the CLD Die who is the "centerpiece" of these two cards:
J'aime tout particulièrement ce die qui est la " pièce maitresse " de ces deux cartes :

A2 Fancy Step Card Kit (Set of 8) -  Here : B 570

This is the base cut for each card, one on white cardstock, the other printed .

C'est la découpe de base pour chaque carte , l'une sur cardstock blanc , l'autre sur cardstock imprimé .

I then filed a cut made with the greatest die Series:

J'ai ensuite apposé une découpe réalisée avec le plus grand die de la série :

Here , at SRAPY LAND .

Then I affixed around the center of the card, a cut made with die :

Ensuite j'ai apposé , autour du centre de la carte , une découpe réalisée avec le die

Then I made a cut (white for the white card, green for the flower card), made with the die

Ensuite , j'ai apposé une découpe ( blanche pour la carte blanche , verte pour la carte fleurie ) , réalisée avec le die

The floral bouquet of white card is made with the cuts:

The flower card is enhanced, on the frame,  with a cut-out ,with the die:
