Hello Dear Followers and Visitors!
Here I am of return with a mirror, of oriental inspiration this time, but in the Vintage style which I adore particularly:

Me voici de retour avec un miroir , d'inspiration orientale cette fois , mais dans le style Vintage que j'adore particulièrement :

On the same baseof the mirror with which I had realized my post " Sparkles " ( Here ), I wanted to realize an elegant mirror on the theme of the nature.
I found the digital paper and the illustration on Pinterest, in a color palette magnificently matched well!
I covered my cardboard mirror of both cuts of paper, first side and reverse, and I covered the whole mirror with Crackle Paint.
I also covered the illustration with Crackle Paint, what gives her a satin finish as a silky and soft tissue.
The cuts, realized with dies Sue Wilson and Cheery Lynn Design (Die " Peacock-FRM 137) was cut from a golden paper DCWV, then strewed with acrylic paint old gold on both faces.
( I had no more enough powder to emboss STAMPENDOUS FRANTAGE " Embossing Enamel AGED " ......., it is necessary to me to redo my stock!).
The old-looking aspect was nevertheless obtained by shading off by place the acrylic paint old gold.
To realize magic cut of the peacock, feathers of which constitute the handle of the mirror, I cut twice, in the box of a package of cereal, the body of the bird of the die Peacock CLD to realize a chipboard "house" then twice of golden paper, also crossed then in the acrylic paint old gold.
Any assembly gives a relief and a considerable solidity to this element that I wanted to see appearing as a chiselled ornament.
The feathers of peacock were affixed one by one: they are wooden Chipboards of my personal stock (My Die of feathers of peacock was too much tall for my composition, grrr! : You ever wanted a magic wand to shrink or enlarge a Die in the precise format which you wish? .....)
To the mirror is decorated in the same style, and I find the very very elegant cut of mirror.
The set is decorated with paste and with some pearls in various tones of pale greens in emerald green, to call back the precious stones which contributed formerly to the elegance of the eternal feminine....
Here is the small mirror of elegant woman's boudoir that I would have liked well using for real..
Sur la même base du miroir avec lequel j'avais réalisé mon post " Sparkles " ( Ici ) , j'ai voulu réaliser un miroir élégant sur le thème de la nature .
J'ai trouvé le papier digital et l'illustration sur Pinterest , dans une palette de couleurs merveilleusement bien assorties !
J'ai recouvert mon miroir en carton des deux découpes de papier , recto et verso ,et j'ai recouvert l'ensemble du miroir avec du Crackle Paint .
J'ai également recouvert l'illustration avec du Crackle Paint , ce qui lui donne un fini satiné comme un tissu soyeux et doux .
Les découpes, réalisées avec des dies Sue Wilson et Cheery Lynn Design
(Die " Peacock - FRM 137)
ont été découpées dans un papier DCWV or , puis parsemées de peinture acrylique vieil or sur les deux faces ( je n'avais plus suffisamment de poudre à embosser STAMPENDOUS FRANTAGE " Embossing Enamel AGED BRONZE " ......., il me faut refaire mon stock !).
L'aspect vieilli a néanmoins été obtenu en estompant par place la peinture acrylique vieil or.
Pour réaliser la magique découpe du paon , dont les plumes constituent la poignée du miroir , j'ai découpé deux fois , dans le carton d'un paquet de céréales , le corps de l'oiseau du die Peacock CLD pour réaliser un chipboard " maison " puis deux fois de papier or , également passé ensuite à la peinture acrylique vieil or .
Le tout assemblé donne un relief et une solidité appréciable à cet élément que je voulais voir apparaître comme un ornement ciselé .
Les plumes de paon ont été apposées une par une : ce sont des Chipboards en bois de mon stock personnel ( mon Die de plumes de paon était trop grand pour ma composition , grrr! :
il ne vous est jamais arrivé d'avoir envie d'une baguette magique pour rétrécir ou agrandir une matrice de découpe au format précis que vous souhaitez ?.....)
L'envers du miroir est décoré dans le même style, et je trouve la découpe de miroir très très élégante .
L' ensemble est orné de strass et de quelques perles dans différents tons de verts pâles à vert émeraude , pour rappeler les pierres précieuses qui contribuaient jadis à l'élégance de l' éternel féminin ....
Voilà un petit miroir de boudoir d'élégante que j'aurais bien aimé utiliser pour de vrai ....
